I was an eight year old child when the first film was released. I would watch it, rewind it and watch it again, everyday. It was my favourite childhood movie. Therefore I wasn't expecting a lot from this newest version but was pleasantly surprised. All the songs I loved were still there with some new ones added. I like all the little differences in this version. Wouldnt it be boring if it was exactly the same, word for word as the original. The actors were great. I loved both Ariel and Eric in this version. They are both incredibly good looking and incredible singers. Watching it in the movie theatre is a must I think. It brought me back to being 8 again. Definitely a fantastic remake by Disney.

A beautiful and hearfelt story with lots of complex and likable characters. The actors were all excellent. It was incredibly sad but warmed my heart at the same time. My favourite Bridgerton tale so far.
