I only have one complaint, I dont like the autotuned parts of the songs, other than that this album is absolutely amazing. Lyrically it only has a couple of bad lines but even then they are buried by amazing lines right after. I have no problems with the beats, flows or the energy throughout the album. I only wish it had a few more features on the album to add a little bit more variety to the albums overall sound.

Easily some of the bands best work, there are points where it reaches the Iowa levels of heaviness like with unsainted, Nero forte, red flag, orphan and liars funeral. The rest is pretty standard for slipknot in terms of heaviness. Spiders is a really fun song with a cool solo and there’s a lot of cool experimentation with synths and song ideas. Overall it’s a great album and I highly recommend it.

It's a great album that perfectly resembles what makes metal so good, the riffs have a familiar sound and the drums are well played and sound as good as ever, the bass lines add a lot to the music and the singing is very good. The solos could use a little work but they are still enjoyable. Lyrically it has some improvements but sometimes it a little corny or over done. Honestly the album is just really enjoyable all the way through, I dont skip any songs on the album when I listen because o they are all well structured and good sounding songs.
