Dude people said they didn’t like this because “It wasn’t scary” but that’s because they went in with very high expectations of being absolutely terrified. When the movie came out I didn’t really check stuff on it so I won’t get spoilers so I wasn’t able to see the hype everyone was talking about on it. And I absolutely LOVED the movie and was honestly pretty effin’ scared 💀. I came in thinking this was just going to be a mystery movie with blood and some scary stuff here and there and I was terrified! (Probably because I was on the third row) But everything in this movie I think was PERFECT. The cinematography is my favorite I’ve ever seen in a movie, the acting was actually phenomenal, and I loved the story a LOT. So all I have to say is to go into this movie with an open mind and don’t expect to be terrified after.
