What makes this movie difficult to watch is the apalling editing, and the incredibly bad, improbable, vapid dialogues. Also, the casting isn't great, especially for the title role (the guy sounds and looks like he belongs in an American Wild West shoot-out rather than a Czec historical recreation). Visually, it does have it's moments, but it's not as lucious as it could have been. Too bad.

Entertaining with a few very poignant bits of acting but I found it difficult to engage with the main protagonist. It's nowhere near as well written as Shetland or Broadchurch, but if you like small town intrigues set in a beautiful coastline environment, you'll enjoy this show.
