Immortal Samsara is one of the most beautiful chinese coustume drama ever for me. It's about love, friendship, loyality, hatred, betrayl and potrays both bitterness and sweetnes of life so well. Also i don't understand why do people compare Immortal Samsara to the c dramas " Ashes of Love' & 'Love and Redemption' , As far as i see and feel, i think that the costume c drama Immortal Samsara was far better than those two costume drama's ..There were many misunderstandings in both ashes of love & love and redemption but immortal samsara shows the growth of the main characters and those around them in true sense. From Ying Yuan's fear of loosing her to him coming to terms with what he truely wants ,facing his fears and fighting for her & Yandan growing from a bubbly ancient lotus to a mature lotus spirit, growing up in via going through hardship of mortal life - for me it was a masterpiece. The OST tracks were on point.. all good tracks one after the other.. Immortal Samsara definitely deserves more than this. It's atleast a 9 and with all the beautiful OST and it's a 9.7 for me.. For those who think it's a sad ending.. it's not. Immortal samsara part 1 & part 2 .. a total of 59 episodes each about 45 minutes. The ending shown in episode 59 gave everyone mixed feelings..it made many of us sad and heartbroken.. but there is an extra here 2 episodes .. special extra episodes 60 & 61 .. it shows the true ending of the Drama.. it's a happy ending.. they have their wish fulfilled and their dream comes true. So please don't forget to watch the extra chapters even though it shows 59th episode is the last episode.. don't miss out the specials. I would recommed this as a must watch. It potrays the main characters Sang Zizi & Duan Jiaxu very well. If you want to describe what I felt as I watched hidden Love then it would be 'Pure and Sincere love'. The story shows the growth of the characters from meeting as a 14 year old little girl and a 19 year old boy in youth to their journey from being a brother/sister to friend to lover, it portrays the main character duan jaixu and sang zizi's emotions , their struggle and the flow of the story showing the growth of the characters as they age. I loved how the lead actors Zhou Lusi and Chen Zheyuan played out the role of the main characters, no one would have suited the drama better. If possible I would love to watch this pair working together again as a lead in another c drama. Finally a heads-up if this drama is on your watchlist - the drama might make you want you to fall in love, if you are a girl you might wish you were sang zizi and if you are a boy you might wish you were duan jaixu.. I can rewatch it and not get tired. Story 10/10, Acting 10/10 , Drama OST 10/10 Hidden love is a 10 for me.. mainly because of the storyline and pure and sincere love shown which is very rarely seen. The actors efforts can be seen by how both the main roles of duan jaixu and sang zizi seems real to the audience. This drama is a big big YES!
