With the launch of Disney+ this morning in Canada, I took the opportunity to watch Encore! before I headed to work, and I was ecstatic to say the least, and the 1 episode that is currently available- where a former high school cast reunited to relive their 1996 production of Annie, and it was amazing. There were hiccups, laughs, tears, but for a bunch of people who hadn't performed in years, has only a few days to rehearse and at such a professional level, they did an amazing job and I'm so looking forwards to future episodes, it really is a great show, 10/10, would highly recommend!

I'm 23 years old and my best friend of 15 years and I are exactly like Sandy and Norman. I thoroughly enjoyed the comedy and thought it was extremely well written. I will admit, I don't think this show is for everyone, It takes a certain level of understanding on aging and issues seniors (especially senior men) deal with. My sister is 25 and I know for a fact it's not a show she would be able to get into. Although slow and some points, it's a nice relaxing and comical break from all the bad news and fast-paste shows out there now-a-days that focus more on drama and less on genuine character development and connection. After watching all 8 episodes in about 4 hours, I was desperately craving more, I was genuinely laughing out loud and I really hope this show gets picked up for a second season!
