Rankin really needs to give it a rest. This Rebus is just not credible. Rebus in jail solving crimes on the inside and out and managing to get a little escape trip on the side. Really! And let’s not mention the ongoing Rankin ignorance intentional or otherwise of police procedures. About time he stopped the nonsense and realised that real life cops don’t behave so badly. This is the last one I’ll read.
