Could have been the best book I’ve ever read if the writing wasn’t absolutely terrible. I understand that the author was trying to write from several different point of views and wanted to make them seem authentic; however the effects and different fonts she put in the book was just distracting. It was from third point of view as well, so not totally sure why we had to go from different perspectives. Alongside this, the author would switch from third point of view to thoughts that a character was thinking without warning; along with the effects she had going on, this was incredibly confusing and frustrating. The ending was terrible and I predicted it 50 pages in. It was slow and there were loads of pointless details. Avery and Lucas’s relationship was also pointless and frustrating. I hated reading their chapters. I had no feelings for any of the characters due to poor character development. Probably the worst book I’ve ever read. Had this on my read list forever, so disappointed.
