The whole show is completely backwards in it's views. It painted Atheists as absolute monsters and brainless barbarians. I could only get through two episodes before becoming disgusted. History has literally shown that religion actually hinders progress in technology and medicine. They called it the Dark Ages for a reason. Along with the fact that child labor would be more of a church move due to their real world young missionaries. Dystopias have been my favorite type of fiction for years especially since most hold a little truth. If you want a good religious dystopia that hits a little too close to home try A Handmaiden's Tale.
