I took my friends to see this in the cinemas when it came out.... they all punched me at the end for tainting their Dragonball experience. To be fair... I felt like those punches were deserved after seeing this. Basically - almost nothing to do with the original anime/manga. Terrible adaption and really poor script. Character choices didn't make sense, motives were lack lustered and they totally just changed everyone's personality. Takes everything that was good about the anime/manga series and just dumps it into a fire. What would've easily improved it is if they had just renamed the movies, and characters and not make it based on Dragon Ball. It would receive less hate. But alas here we are.
