Disappointing for Ridley Scott film. Lacked depth, pace wasn't right. Scenes felt disjointed. Joaquin not a good casting choice and age not historically accurate. Too much time on the awkward scenes with his wife then cuts to a battle scene where he's yelling orders, in an American accent! Battle scenes felt solid but it's no Gladiator.
