Good game! I just got it on gamepass for Xbox and it was fun to start playing but it quickly got incredibly rage inducing. Before I say anything else I not great at these kind of games but I still enjoy playing them until it’s no longer fun to play and I’m just raging over every little thing. This tends to happen when the difficulty has a sudden spike where if your not a god with the mechanics up until this point your dead and good luck progressing if ur not. Now to Why I gave it a 3 star it’s because of the third boss in the game Fenxi aka a giant demon hog. Up until this point I was struggling with the other two bosses before but it didn’t get to the level it was at with fenxi. For the first 2 bosses you get used to blocking and parrying quickly but then you have to slow it down for fenxi which isn’t the end of the world. I eventually get used to slowing down the gameplay for this boss fight. The thing that made me the most mad with the fight is I have good timing for the blocks then parrys but I still get hit. I start to get mad over this so I go look up guides to help they didn’t help at all for me at least. I do pretty much everything they say and it didn’t help. I then took break to write this review because it had nearly been 100 attempts at the fight. I start thinking about why I can’t beat him and now I think it’s a timing thing but I thought I had good timing but apparently not because you have to be perfect on when you input the block I was milliseconds or even nanoseconds off of being perfect but the game does give leeway to that. If you read this far good job. The game isn’t bad itself it’s just the minor things that make it bad for me. If your willing to take on this challenge of a game be my guest but just be prepared for sudden difficulty spikes, hard bosses, and poor game mechanics for fighting those said bosses. It’s just not for me.
