Usually I dont read review before watching a film bacause most of the time it doesn't agree with my reading of the film. When that unmatching happens I have to reread the film. But I have seen that reading riview after watching takes my rereading closer to obejectivity. Every week I make a list of the films which I would must watch. In case of Mukherjidar Bou two thing happened. First,initially the film was excluded from my list secondly one review just happened to appear before my eyes and then finally I watched it. Now I realise It was my great mistake to igonore the film. It may not be a very great or classical but definitely it demands attention very strongly. I appreciate the subject and its treatment. very impressive editing made it more lucid. I would reccommend othwers to watch it.

The absolute silence that pervaded through the entire theatre hall after the film ended was an indiaction how deeply it touched the heart of all the viewers. Thanks to the director for taking us to an unknown world where only rejection, neglect, pain exist. Who else other than Riddhi Sen could win the best actor award. Fascinating perfomance.
