This read was a roller-coaster ride. The two distinct halves add to the interest. The first part, as a historical perspective, clarifies the Chinese eccentricity and attachments to blood line for Francis Kwa. The second half, as Amy Kwa's li ved experience, takes on a real memoir turn and I became personally hooked in the twists and turns.
As well as her beloved Auatralian grandparents, I believe Amy has her Aunty Therese's steadfast love and constancy to thank for her sanity and success. An engrossing read.
