Once I had successfully tricked my imagination to listen to John Fogerty as if for the first time, and subsequently marveling at his skill, artistry, voice, and stage presence - I became convinced that not only was he a fountainhead of talent as assimilated as they come to American music and the crossroads of folk, rock, c & w blues, and rockabilly -- I became a huge fan all over again for more informed reasons as well. This collection is a good start towards identifying the many vectors of Fogerty's genius.
