The biggest waste of 2.5 hours of my life ever. I’d rather watch Life of Pi again than finish this load of drivel. It had so much potential - with a stellar cast - but died to a lack lustre performance that was in neither the drama or comedy or satirical genre. It just limped along like a one legged hippo wading in treacle. I only gave it one star because I had to.

On the whole I enjoyed it but thought the plot line was fairly thin. Didn’t like the ending. Would watch again for the sweet relationship between ‘Jacqui’ and ‘Catherine’. A reasonable LGBTQ film. Good acting.

Dull, dreary, and limps along like a 3 legged donkey. At the best Nighy seems disinterested and at the best, positively bored. Benning’s voice is akin to fingers down a chalk bored. It left me saying ‘Is that it then?’ Lovely scenery was it’s only slight saving Grace. Missible and certainly not memorable.
