Wow… definitely Disney’s best adaptation of a classic to live action yet!! 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 Excellent character development that leads with a strong new story line, delivering an amazing and fresh take on the original classic animated version while still making numerous iconic references!! (You’ll undoubtedly appreciate the subtle Easter eggs) Special mention to Liu Yifei for the amazing portrayal of Mulan, which certainly was a tremendous challenge!! The emotional rollercoaster that we take, along with Liu Yifei’s Mulan, is a staple of this masterpiece!! Also, a very surprising performance from Gong Li presenting an awesome “suppressed antagonist” of this story!! Quick tip for those heading to theaters to see this; EXPECT A WHOLE NEW STORYLINE THAT’S DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL Go in looking forward to Disney’s amazing storytelling skills and you definitely won’t be disappointed. Also… stick around for the end credit soundtracks. There’s no teaser…but the music really hits home.
