*SPOILERS*
I think this was a great take on the real life struggles of aging and the physical and psychological changes that come with it. Obviously, this movie is not realistic but the issues that it presents, are. Example) the mental state when the children became adults and that feeling of loss because they missed out on so much throughout what should have been their childhood. Or the physical symptoms their parents began to experience as their bodies started failing them. Or the mention of the adults still feeling like children in their minds but clearly not being children anymore. It explores a supernatural side to it as well, and I commend Night for not including trivial things like the young girl getting her period for the first time or the little boy losing his baby teeth, it would have set the tone back to a place that would be repetitive. Overall, great movie. It made me appreciate the time I have left or lack thereof, my family, and the opportunities that come my way.
