This is a beautiful show. So very relatable for young, brown girls growing up outside of India. I have been the biggest fan of Mindy Kaling since I found out she was one the writing brains behind The Office( the greatest comedy sitcom we have had till date). South Asian especially Indian representation is very mellow and almost non existent in popular culture. I am so very glad Mindy Kaling brought a whirlwind of change into this stereotype. Although, it's the similar kinda teenage American high-school drama, I did kinda binge watch it in a day. Many touching moments and sweet scenes. Loved the 3 beautiful women Devi, her mom and her cousin Kamala!! Guys you should definitely use your quarantine to watch this show, it will definitely make you smile and touch your curry soul 🤩
