The recent release both in cinemas and on Netflix, titled 'The Persian Version,' has stirred strong emotions with its numerous shortcomings and offensive content. The film's portrayal of Imam Mehdi (a) is particularly troubling as it ridicules his revered status and suggests implausible scenarios, including his purported assistance in animal form, among other unacceptable depictions. Remaining silent in the face of such disrespect towards sacred beliefs is not an option. The portrayal of Imam Mehdi (a) in this movie is deeply distressing, not only for its blatant mockery but also for its factual inaccuracies that deviate from established Islamic beliefs. Imam Mehdi's (a) significance is universal among Muslims throughout history, and it's disheartening to witness his portrayal in 'The Persian Version' as insulting, misguided, and entirely unacceptable. It's imperative to speak out against such misrepresentations and uphold the sanctity of our religious beliefs.
