So far, SNW is hitting me just like TOS does! A deft mix of serialized character arcs with standalone stories. The mix of adventure, drama and humor is just about right. Pike and his senior crew relate as friends and can rib each other as friends yet still be professional and serious when everything goes bad. This camaraderie is great to see...so much so that if I were in Starfleet, I'd definitely want him as my CO. The Enterprise looks phenomenal, and watching how everyone's relationships are developing, I'm really hoping SNW can last for the whole 5 year mission or more!
