I grew up watching Mulan as a young girl, I looked up to her. This movie really captured more realistic views of Mulan. The older Mulan movies are more “child” like, but this movie is more relatable as an adult. I truly believe the outcome of this movie was great. It is being compared to the original movie, and yes it is missing characters and some points in the story line changed. The visuals in this movie were beautiful, and you could feel Mulans emotions without there being words spoken. Disney truly captured loyal, brave and true. Overall I hope for a second Mulan, the story line and build up to Mulan and Honghui's relationship fits perfectly. Well worth the 2 week hunt to find this movie in stock on RedBox!
