Daisy Haggard is great in this and strikes a perfect balance between natural warmth and the edgy fragility of someone readjusting to life after prison. The other actors are also superb, and I don't think there's a duff note in the whole thing.
The writing is spot on; very funny, deeply human and engaging.
Back to Life seemed to go under the radar a bit, which is a shame, because it's one of the best British comedy offerings for a few years.
