Honestly, it devastates me to say this, but MK1 is easily the worst game in the franchise. I was so excited and eagerly awaited the release, but I, like many others, have been let down. Mortal Kombat has been my favourite game, and franchise, since I was 7 (way back in 1992). MK1 is disappointing on many fronts. Firstly, this is a real step back in regards to character design (especially the female characters). Secondly, Test Your Might and Test Your Skill are annoying and boring - there is no nostalgia - it just sucks! Third, after you finish story mode there is little to do - the game is repetitive and boring. I do like the concept of invasions but it's just not exciting. Fourth, advantages (like tailsmen and armour) should be a fun upper hand and not a necessity. Some of these stages are ridiculous. Fifth, the whole game seems rushed. The story starts out interesting, but gets derailed. Finally, there is a lot of content you need to pay real dollars for - I loathe the money grab. I truly believe that anyone giving this game 5 stars has been paid to do so. Don't listen to the lies. The game sucks! - coming from a life-long fan. If Mortal Kombat hopes to survive this failure they need to focus on character and costume design - give us the characters we fell in love with. Nostalgia - everyone loved the mini games (motor kombat, chess kombat, puzzle kombat) - bring these back (and create more) and give players something fun to do. Get rid of "Test Your..." - honestly, it's just not fun anymore. The Shrine is pathetic; bring back The Krypt - exploring gives players something to do!

Such a great concept for a series and so well acted. I don't understand why it has been cancelled after only two seasons - we deserve more!

A truly brilliant sitcom that should never have been cancelled. To have only given them a few episodes to wrap everything up was so completely unfair to fans of the show - it was rushed and we deserved more.

Such a great concept for a series. Love the wardrobe and the steampunk elements. The storyline is interesting and the acting quite decent. Amalia True is such a wonderful, rich character; and the fight scenes are amazing. Also, loving Amy Manson as Maladie - the character is so well-played.

This is such a great show and the cast is spectacular; it is such a shame that the network won't commit to a proper schedule so that fans can get their weekly fix.
