Tagged for Life by @adityanighhot is a beautiful story revolving around Karan and Ahana. The start of the story was enough to set the curiosity to know the backstory. This story played like a short series in my head. The writing style is so captivating that I was able to visualize and relate to incidents easily. A sweet Bollywood-style love story that went missing from Bollywood long back. Karan Malhotra, son of a famous filmmaker and Ahana Mukherjee comes from a middle-class background in Kolkata. They met in college where they were pursuing a course in film-making. Karan fell in love with Ahana at first and later they became good friends. Whereas Ahana, who opposed love strongly, fell for Karan gradually over time. Now, this story unveils the essence of selfless contemporary love exploring all the aspects of a love story from first meeting to heartbreak and growth. The book is written in simple easy to understand language. You don't need to refer to a dictionary to enjoy it. The plot twist was a bit predictable but that is what made the book comfortable and enjoyable both at the same time. Highly recommended, if you are looking for something that can take you back to the feeling of emotions and pain of true love from the olden days.
