The most difficult book I have ever read. The imagery was beautiful BUT SO FREAKING LONG. Like, I do not need to know about every little nook and cranny of a room. I do not need every inch of a dusty house described. And then I got really invested in Zachary and Dorian's love story and I never got to see it. They spent nearly the whole story away from each other, so by the end when they finally do get together, I just stopped caring. Extremely disappointing book. The ending was incredibly lackluster and if my copy wasn't a library book I probably would have tossed it right out the window. Save yourself the time and find something else to read.
