I am biased to costume, mystery Korean series so this grabbed my attention. It is refreshing to watch a Korean series wherein the artist casts fits and portrays the character so well. I find her character fun. The first episode is slow and didn’t hook me but the character of the female lead kept me watching. By 4th episode, I am fully into it and anticipating being enlightened by how it will progressed. The relationship dynamics of the brothers also intrigued me. Overall, I will recommend this for anyone into Korean costume drama series that are light, fun, with no heavy drama/conflict, and not revolving around royalty. I also realized (this is a spoiler) …….. there’s no kissing scene in this series at all. I enjoyed it and I hope you give it a try and enjoy it too.

The story deals with sexual harassment and abuse which is a touchy topic. I personally believe it could have been directed better. There are scenes that didn’t make sense at all and possibly inserted to fill time. Camera angles are wonderfully set. I like the adjustment and balance of lighting used in each scenes. Locations are also appropriate and good for this series. The artists are alright and can most likely improve their facial expression and line delivery as more project comes along. The set design and wardrobe are awesome. One thing tho, the English sub is very poor. I understand due to budget it may be the last thing production want to spend on but select English speaking fans can be invited to view it ahead for sub review and correction before releasing. There’s tons of correction submission in iQIYI that weren’t even addressed and this is already months after the last episode was shown. It’s a good time killer if you are looking for something to pass time and no other choice.

This is a very nice series to binge watch over a weekend. Story is light and sweet that makes you feel good. I actually plan to watch it again. The story is good, nothing cringey. The actors executed their roles beautifully.
