What I understand from the torrent of negative, copy paste, reviews is that most people have not understood the narrative of this film at all. Whilst the film seems to miss the mark on the existential questions posed by the book, the extraordinary paranoia, self-centered dialogue from all characters and openly racial nuances create a tense atmosphere that perfectly reflects the ugliness and futility of the ever increasingly polarised world that we live in. This slow burn, unravelling of a not so mysterious mystery had me on the edge of my seat.
