Not too bad, as far as police drama goes, but the acting is wooden. The lead character is insular and aloof. She’s then surprised when others called her a bully. The chip on her shoulder about her cultural background led her to believe she was invincible. It's her Indian self against the world. It became wearing, but I stayed with season 1 until the end because I suspected a crooked cop early and wanted to learn the outcome. I didn’t waste my time with season 2. It’s a 3 stars. The lead character is unsympathetic with too many blind spots. The final scene drinking with her new buddies was inauthentic. How many times does the viewer have to be hit over the head with a self righteous crusader insisting, “we know what this is really about”. Yeah, we do! You’re a bad actor, playing an obnoxious twat with no sympathy for your parents, or grace toward your colleagues.
