This retcon of Texas Chainsaw Massacre is utterly DISRESPECTFUL to the original iconic film. It's as if an amateur writer/director gathered a bunch of novice actors and said, "Hey, let's destroy a classic movie simply because we can!" "SPOILER ALERT" The scene where leatherface entered the school bus and murdered everyone individually was by far one of the most unbelievably ridiculous scenes in the history of horror films. Furthermore, I suppose leatherface is some supernatural being now, considering he was shot with a shotgun 1000 x's and had his face darn near split opened with his own chainsaw and still survived with enough stamina to run and kill. And the scene where woman who survived Leatherface had a shotgun pointed directly at him after waiting 50 years to do so, only to let him walk right past and ultimately kill her, was nothing short of STUPID! NOTHING about this version makes any sense! The creators of this film are arrogant to release something so appalling. It's a mundane highschool VERY corny film, with all the typical falling when nothing's there, leg suddenly hurts too bad to run, ample opportunities to kill or get away but I'd rather not, and unnecessary wannabe heroes. I should sue for the pain and suffering I endured while watching them murder such a classic film.
