This movie goes on about 2 hours too long.
And by that, I mean it's 2 hours long. Two hours and literally nothing happens. A girl gets knocked up and has a baby with a deadbeat dad, so she doesn't get to go to college and is poor because she has to raise a kid. Is this the pitch???
Seriously, does anything else happen in this movie?
Performances and editing are so weak. Drew couldn't even draw real tears, so they (poorly) interspliced mismatched scenes with drops on her cheeks and then suddenly disappearing again in the same scene. Many other scenes also clearly take place with actors not even in the same room, clearly reciting their lines to stand-ins off screen on mismatched edits lazily slapped together.
You know a movie sucks when half the dialog is looped in post-production (main lines of dialog are spoken by characters who aren't even on camera).
Steve Zang is annoying, can't really act, and looks way too much like Michael J. Fox, but without the talent...just annoying facial expressions, mannerisms, and constant whining.
Also what an odd casting choice during the peak of Sopranos to put two Sopranos actors--Dr. Melfie is married to Sal/Pussy, wtf? Their accents are *so* Jersey (some scenes were even filmed in Peterson), and this is supposed to CT!??
There is literally nothing going on in this movie. Imagine Forest Gump without Forest, his mom, his haircut, his box of chocolates, Vietnam, Jenny, Lt. Dan, or him telling any interesting stories, or even going for a run. Just a couple people walking around for two hours talking about nothing. And you basically have this movie.
Just sit by and wait for it to be over.
I couldn't. I don't think I can finish watching... Click!!
