Why is so much of the Olympic coverage about celebrities there? I want coverage about the sports by qualified people from the sport being covered. I don't care the NBC used a special fancy dinning spot for their telecasting headquarters. And why, why, would they let the "King of Pot" (as another article listed him as) represent the United States? What qualifies him to cover this important event? How much money was wasted on his clothing?
I am saddened by the focus of the reporting. It's supposed to be about athletic excellence and the world coming together - not about money and celebrity
