The mood of this film is so engaging. From the rapid pace small town conversations to the measured individual storytelling, this film has sincerity and a genuine period feel. The cinematography is impressive. For me this is time and money (for production) well spent. The acting has that earnest slice of life texture and there's not one moment when I'm pulled out of the movie. I am slowly, carefully made to care about the people and what's happening to Everett and Fay, the two main characters trying to unravel the mystery presented to them by strange events. The creepy elements are more curiosity turned to wonder and finally concern. It's easy to recommend.
