Shy Incredible

I'll start off with the obvious: Yes, this game has performance issues. Clipping, frames, and all the likes are definitely prevalent throughout. There should be little to no excuses for this, and it is saddening to see.... However: I have never felt this hooked to a Pokemon game in, well, forever. This game is like a mix of Legends Arceus (I game I personally did not enjoy much at all), and Sword and Shield (another game that really missed the mark), but it somehow combines these elements to create one of the most thrilling experiences of Pokemon I have ever played. This is peak for the series (imo) in regards of storytelling, adventure, and just overall life to the game. You can quite literally play the game as you choose, but there's so much fascination in every detail of this game, and going through the story and world with your team of Pokemon is just... Refreshing, to say the least. It really saddens me that people are hooked on the fact that "Oh, look at all these bugs!" and holding a hand of pure hatred towards GameFreak. Because yes, while the game should run much, much smoother, this is one of those rare times that GameFreak actually *listened* to fans and created something new, creative, and captivating for us... I hope that they improve their performance drastically going forwards, but this game is quite literally a step in the right direction and the passion and idea for this game is undeniable. Definitely recommend buying! Although, waiting until some bugs are patched is a fine option, but barring those issues this game is DEFINITELY worth more than 2.6 stars (the rating during the current moment of writing this)
