This is a lovely book, well written, captivating and with many lessons in it. We ready it as a family together with our 10 year old son. He loved the story, the plot and have learned about the struggles that a refugee, young and old, goes through when seeking asylum. The books also highlights important issues related to prejudice, bullying at school and different views of local residents about an influx of refugees. However, kindness, friendship, respect and acceptance prevails in this story. Lovely book.
