Peak fiction. Don't listen to anyone complaining about the ending...well it may not be the most perfect ending but it was good. Talking about the whole journey, man it was an exhilarating ride throughout those 88 episodes. Best piece of fiction I have ever watched in any media and trust me I have watched many shows but none like AOT. Just go for it. You'll not regret it one bit.
