Don't think it's as bad as the other reviews, special effects are a joke and the fight scenes are questionable but I strangely think the scenes are more realistic and authentic. I've walked along alot of the battles of the bulges forests in Belgium and it looks pretty authentic. Sometimes I think other Hollywood productions like band of brothers or saving private Ryan are very choreographed, acting and lighting and a little fake. Brilliant but not necessarily authentic. Also I think it picked a interesting location other than Bastogne and gave a good background in tactics to battle of the bulge. Not brilliant but 3/5 so not bad.
