I was keenly interested in watching this whole series which I did. It was very interesting to see so many different faces of religion around the world, but somehow it was also sad. I say this since I believe in one true Creator, our God who's son's name is Jesus who died for our sins and rose again and is seated at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven. Having watched this series, you may think that "all roads lead to Rome" but Jesus says very clearly in Joh 14::6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." It is an error to believe that we can worship God in our own way and on our terms. I call this "The error of Cain" where we clearly see Cain bring an offering to God on his own terms not as God had commanded him. This led to Cain's offering being rejected by God. In Gen 4 God asks him: "Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?" God is saying that if Cain had brought the proper offering he would have been accepted. That is were many man made religions try to please God on their own terms by praying 5 times a day or offering food and other things to so called gods. This is not God's requirement. The sacrifices mentioned in the Old Testament of the Bible all point to the coming Messiah who is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of this World. Only the blood of Jesus can wash away our sins. Your man made offering can never pay for your sins. That's why God sent his Son to be the perfect sacrifice and also an acceptable sacrifice to redeem us. Nothing we do can ever wash away our own sins. Only the blood of Jesus can declare your innocence if you will believe in Him. If you believe in Him you will be saved. Please consider this sincerely.
