This was a very entertaining sci-fi show. It kept me engaged and interested for all 8 episodes. The cliffhanger ending was the usual disappointment, but as a lifelong sci-fi fan, I expect that now.
Found this by accident while browsing for something new to watch. Like so many good sci-fi shows, there was no significant effort to advertise it before and during airing, and then - of course - it was cancelled due to "lack of viewership".
I blame Amazon, which has the tools to put ads for this (and similar shows) in front of the eyes of sci-fi fans world wide, yet chose not to. It's like they wanted it to fail from the beginning. A few targeted ads would have increased viewers enormously. We sci-fi fans have a sparse choice for new shows, and eagerly try most offerings in the genre!
If they can't bother to advertise the show, why tease us with releasing one single season with a cliffhanger ending? It's like Firefly all over again.
