The characters are great. Everything is HEAVILY adapted from the original comic books because - let's face it - there's just no way you could have someone be a Vietnam veteran like Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Scarlett were in the original comic books and still be in active service present day.
The writers brought those characters into present day, while remaining faithful to the spirit of the 1980s comic books.
There are a couple of moments where things dragged a bit or strained credibility. However, those were the exception. Still, that's why I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5.
Also, I loved the fight cheorography is this one. It was flashy martial arts that was used in a way to deveolp the characters a bit and move the plot along.
I look forward to the next installment in the G.I. Joe franchise.
