This album is mega dookie. Sure, it’s a slight step up from their prior album overall, but that’s quite a low bar. The lyrics are awful, especially with the obscene amount of lazy “la la la’s” throughout every song. Most of the songs sound like boilerplate tunes you’d hear in a fast fashion mall store. Lastly, I feel as though Coldplays most recent output has been Chris Martin ft. Coldplay. Where is the band?? It’s mostly just Christ Martin over some drum beats. 1.5/5
