I thoroughly enjoyed the film. As a long time RE fan I did not expect the film to be an exact representation of the games, it would be impossible to fit everything into a feature length film and make it understandable or easy to watch. As for everyone complaining about the characters not being true to the games, the acting would have to be pretty atrocious for that to be accurate. The last series of movies with Milla Jovovich was so far away from RE if it wasn’t for the title you would struggle to know it was an adaptation. Overall I thought it was an enjoyable movie which included iconic locations with plenty of nods to the RE world.
