worst book i have read in my life. every character talks in the exact same tone and has no underlying meaning to the story other than "oh man abusive families are bad mannnnn". The book is depressing for the sake of being depressing. I'd rather read the UNO manual because that would be more engaging than reading about a shark getting gutted. THE BOOK HAS NO DAMN CHAPTERS ITS A SEAHORSE SO ITS RIDICULOUS TO TRY AND FIND WHERE STUFF HAPPENS AND TALK ABOUT IT. ESPECIALLY AS THERE IS A CHAPTER EVERY TWO PAGES (for context there is 251 pages in the book including blurbs about how good this book is which takes up 10 pages and out of those pages there is 44 chapters every 5 pages there is a new chapter with some chapters being right next to each other). The most interesting thing about this book is the fact that it got two awards. The fact that people have the AUDACITY to give this 5 stars shows that they've never read a proper book. Id rather have Jeff and Dad gut me and force me to drink beam so I can forget that I've had this t h i n g in my presence than reread this book again.
