I absolutely was enthralled throughout all 3 hours of this film. It's beautifully shot, acted and the scenery is breath-taking and feels as though you are there with the characters. Kevin Costner brings it again! Don't listen to the whiners on this one.....it's must see! Epic and important tale about how "our" country came to be as it is to present time. It's brutal and heart-breaking, beautiful and hopeful, devastating and painful and ultimately shows humanity in all its magnificence and corruption of the mind and spirit. I loved it from beginning to end and cannot wait for the rest of the story!
