Where to start omg. This movie has a lot of throw ons on it, a lot of things in this movie just feels SO unnecessary. Lorraines funeral added nothing they just killed her off just to do it. Specs, tucker, and elise were in the first 4 movies but in this one they only get a cameo like they stan lee or sum. The red face demon only had like 1-2 mins of screen time. They literally break the rules of the further and have the red face demon whos in the further, CHOKE A GIRL WHOS IN THE REAL WORLD WHAT??? Elise explains in the first movie that the red face demon wanted to possess dalton to cause pain to others. THEN WHY IS HE AFTER DALTON IN THIS MOVIE? He literally HAD the ability to harm people in the real world while he is STILL in the further. And then they get rid of the demon by dalton painting over the drawing of the red door??? And somehow that just correlated to the further and trapped the demon in the red door?? Not to mention the demon wasnt killed but escaped from. AGAIN. And we still didnt even get to find out what happens next at the end of chapter 2, 10 years later were still left on that cliffhanger. Sure this movie had some scares and chuckles but the story is just ABSOLUTELY terrible. Insidious 1234 had a good story to them and were actually engaging, all five movies pretty much have the same time length and this one just feels so short. Man there was so much potential why did patrick decide to direct for the first time on THIS movie bro.
