This was one of my favorite movies of all time. I love Doctor Strange, and am a huge fan of Marvel. Not just the movies, but the comics too! We are now into phase 4. This is told to be one of the darkest phases of Marvel. I would not rate this movie PG-13. I would rate it R. I find it to be extremely gruesome, gory, and many parts disturbing, but wow, the cameos and overall plot was amazing. Doctor Strange really has a soft side, which is shown frequently throughout this movie. His skills have improved drastically from the first movie (and obviously the avenger movies). It’s weird to see that Doctor Strange is actually a lot better with kids than he realizes. He collaborates with Spider-Man pretty well in the Spider-Man movie, and now respects America with similar father like qualities. He also shows his loving side to Christine who he “loves in every universe”. It’s definitely another line I will remember and cherish when thinking of us character. I wouldn’t bring my children to see this. I don’t have children, but they definitely wouldn’t be able to watch this. In the theater, I peed a little. I love a good scare, but it totally isn’t of marvel to make scares like this, especially when I get a good laugh in every single movie. There is no laughter in this one. The jump scares are scary. Wanda is petrifying. I see her in my nightmares and I watched it on opening night (May 5). I hoping she doesn’t show up in my dreams tonight! I wouldn’t crush a child’s Sleep schedule like that, so maybe just watch it as an adult yourself. But I appreciated every aspect of this movie
