Excellent cast and performances simply couldn’t rescue a rambling script leaving one unfulfilled and somewhat disappointed. Cooper was superb as usual, but alas, his soaring talent deserved better.

I love Frances McDormand, but this movie was excruciatingly awful. I left it after 20 minutes of futility. Don't waste your time on this one. I can't imagine what the members of the Motion Picture Academy were thinking

Disappointing. I expected more from Costner and Lane. Although this film had its gripping and suspenseful moments, the ending was poorly written and totally implausible.
