I am not a science fiction connoisseur; I like some movies of the genre. But the first character to me panicked, because he was alone, and unable to control the situation. Tho understandable, without thinking he woke another person, so he could have a companion understandable. My thought was why were there no protocols, if something would go so wrong an average person, could fix things, it was very fortunate Laurence fishburne's character gave then the guidance, he did. I wonder should that not all have been taken into consideration. Great visuals, just sad to me a ship full of over five thousand people,there was no thought, what to do to fix catastrophic problem. This made me sad.
