I love musicals but didn't understand what the point of this being one was. Maybe it just went over my head but I hated the movie and I've never hated any movie before. I love Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix and thought they did great with what they were given but felt there wasn't much of a story to follow. It's just something that was filmed because it could be.
