I followed the advice of this book, took the courses and learned from their practitioners for about 4 years. It felt like it was helping for a while but all of my pain and joint issues got worse in the end.
The self massage techniques (mfr) are good but the rest is misguided. The forced posture, shoulder elevation, and navel retraction might make you look better short term, but it's damaging in the long term. Plus, the author runs a cult called functional patterns. Avoid this book!
